Seconded.
I've played this as a 'troller and a scrapper, so far, and each time it was amazingly fun. There's something for everyone. It whacked Cyberman 8
pretty soundly (not dropped, but 3/5ths health went *poof*), told Terr he was naughty and made him stay after school -- a lot -- and kept -everyone- on their
toes, as far as I can tell.
At the same time, it wasn't "oh, look, overwhelming odds". Or at least, not -just- overwhelming odds. There's a nice balance of powers
going on here, even if the rads and force fields flying around are -brutal-. Thing is, it's coupled with the most commonly resisted form of damage in the
game, so you still have a fighting chance, rather than just getting pwned over and over again.
I really haven't had this much fun on what feels like a radio mish in -forever-, especially with a full team. I mean, we had an 8-man Legendary crew
rolling this thing; typically that results in the Steamroller Effect, but here? Not so much.
Awesome, awesome work, Ops. I'm jotting this one down, 'cause you can bet yer ass I'm coming back to play it some more.
It's just about perfect for length, I think; as a kill-all, it's going to encounter a knee-jerk "Eww!" reaction from a lot of folks, but your
map choice -really- helps mitigate that. I already pointed out the one typo I spotted, in the dialogue for Mr. Mason when you talk to him but aren't the
team lead. Your NPC dialogue is simply amazing, and will have anybody with any clue whatsoever laughing until they're sick. I think that should be
counted as an additional attack, really; at one point I was laughing so hard that I flubbed my attack chain.
As I said last night, I like this as-is... if you -can- work it up into an arc, I'd say try it, but I wouldn't worry too much about it either.
It's a great standalone mission, it really is.
