With HE-AT approaching fifty I'm trying to settle on her final build. The biggest issue I have with her is end, so the build below is frankenslotted for
recovery with regen where I couldn't get decent recovery bonuses. I may have over done it, seeing as Mids reports her time from 0-100 end as - 7 sec. Oh
and at this point inf is no object.

HE-AT,
Pursuant to a recent inquiry to this agency a review of your model and performance statistics has been undertaken and following corrective measures are required to be undertaken. These measures will ensure continual smooth operation and the extension of your soon to be voided maintenance record and logbook history.
Said detailed instructions as outlined below must be preformed and certified by an authorized agent, for the prompt processing of your validation paperwork.
We thank you once again for your inquiry and custom.
Regards,
Van Croft Industries - Robotics and Technical Support Division

Details follow:
Step 1) Unscrew eight (8) screws retaining protective covering marked BA-24 using a 4/8th screwdriver
Step 1a) De-power coupling 35B0A and shunt power via fuse G4TA to Secondary power.
Step 1b) Lift protective covering BA-24 from chassis
...
Step 35c) Remove Primary Mathematical Processor chip 5M and Replace
...
Step 145h) Cut the -Blue/Yellow- Wire from terminal A3/5a1 and connect to N2/452
Step 146) Solder a headphone jack with leads (Module 432511-X) into Databus R24s324
...
Step 545j) Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly.
Please note that all steps must be done in sequence for repair to be approved.

The above humor said and done... when I put your build into Mid's yes it did appear to break Mid's. You thought of sending to to Mid's as an intermittent bug? Why do I say 'Appears'? I flipped Nova and the EndRec was restored.
And BTW? There is this little thing called the 5 times cap. [Image: banana-dance.gif] Yes you went over did it, not by a little, but by a lot! From basically Tough onwards you start hitting cap issues. Hence the replacement for the maths module.
So then... Focusing on EndRec, then Regen... avoiding Cap... with no reshuffle of slots.
Changes Made:
  • Power Thrust
    • Purples swapped out for Crushing Impact triples so that the Hetacombs in Total Focus are no longer capped. Also reduced the overal End cost of this power.

  • Tough (previously the 2.5% end Rec bonus was capped)
    • Changed Impervium Armor to Steadfast Res/End and Res/+3%Def. You get a 1.5% end rec bonus and better resistance and defence.

  • Nova: (previously the 4%end bonus from the purple was capped)
    • Alt1 (current)
      • 50 Cleving Blow Acc/Rech + Dam/Rech = 1% Rech

    • Alt2
      • 30 Eradication Dam + Acc/Rech = 1.8 Max End

    • Alt1 matches previous slotting and betters the output damage, without depending on procs, hence it was chosen.
  • Total Focus (Previous 2.5% End Bonus from Studepy was capped)
    • Changed Stupefy with equivalent Rope-A-Dope for a 6% Regen boost.

  • Fire Shield (Previous 2.5% End Rec Bonus was capped)
    • Changed Impervium Armor to Titanium Armor to improve Resistance and Sleep protection, and lower endurance drain.

Other options to consider:
  • Get an accolade. Seriously. The Atlas Medallion is on of the easiest accolades to get now, and it's +5% End. Portal Jockey is harder that's 5% to end and HP. Freedom Phalanx Resereve is 10% to HP... Then there's Task Force Commander, another 5% HP buff.
  • Consider converting the combo of 2xLotG + 2xGotA into 4xGotA. The advantage its an additional 1.8% Max End.
The only capped bonuses left is in Rise of the Phoenix and in Stun... hang on... two more changes:
  • Boxing
    • Change Absolute Amazement to Razzle Dazzle for 1% End Rec boost and to uncap the bonus from Rise of the Phonenix. Also get better overal percentage despite using 30 IOs.

  • Stun (previously the 4% end bonus from the purple was capped)
    • Change Absolute Amazement to Razzle Dazzle for End Rec boost. Unable to match slotting, but the end boost makes up for it.

I think that's all the changes. You'll have to go through and check the build yourself.
Now for some numbers.
Starting Build:
Regen: 411%
Max Hp: 106.4%
EndRec: 216% (3.6/s)
End Use: 0.74/s
Max End: 100%

Final Version:
Regen: 417%
Max Hp: 106.4%
EndRec: 222% (3.71/s)
End Use: 0.71/s
Max End: 100%

Thus, the final version has squeezed more performance in all areas, and has no capped bonuses.
Hope this helps.
Shader.

I did not know about the 5x cap, which may explain a few things that didn't make sense before. The main impetus for the build was a few hours of pure
frustration with HE-ATs current lack of end, and this looks like it solves that. Thanks for having a look.
