Crossovers that shoould be: beginings of Sub Genius

Could make Twi a "bridge bunny"... thus setting up the Rainbow/Pinkie/Twilight triangle to echo the original.

Twilight would fit quite well as a bridge bunny/CAG type.  Rarity is easy- who ELSE would take all that music, and build the movies/music videos around it?
As for Fluttershy... I got nothing.

So which is the pacifist looney who thinks we could get along with the aliens if it wasn't for the imperialist military warmongers?

Evangelion vs. Zombies - Gendo and SEELE had been racing to each try to get their apocalypse in first, sadly for both of them they don't quite manage to pull it off before the dead start rising from the grave...

I had some ideas for a Nanoha cross but they've slipped away again. Probably something mecha-related since they came to me when I discovered pictures of her in Fortress Form.

Must be.  MUST be.

DIRTY HARRY:  TWILIGHT.

After finally wiping out the ENTIRE criminal underworld of L.A. (again), Detective Harry Callahan LAPD, retires to a waterlogged town in Washington State that promises to be peaceful and quiet... until he discovers the disgustingly vapid, insipid, and just plain pansy-ass supernatural creatures hiding in plain sight there.  These wannabe 'vamps' and 'weres' are just SO pathetic, they need to die just to bring up the tone of the local Underworld.

I suppose "The Brown Identity" (as in Lavender) would just be La Femme Nikita with magic. As in Charlie maybe?

Found this one on the 'Crossovers made of win and awesome' thread on RPGnet:

Quote:The day was nearly done when I received Haruhi's text: "Emergency meeting in the clubroom! Immediately after class!", as if we weren't already going to meet that day.

"We are getting a new English teacher!" Haruhi blurted. "Mr. Brown fell sick, and he is being replaced."
"Oh, another American?" inquired Koizumi, he looked... nervous.
"No, this is going to be a real English teacher, from England!"
"Oh, do you think he'll be a little boy magician?" Mikuru burbled.
"Don't be silly. This isn't a manga, there's no way they'll have a little boy teaching a high school class. But he may be a magician, many Englishmen are. Or a spy..."
"He's probably just a pervert." Koizumi muttered.
"What?" I said.
"Well, that's why those foreigners do it, right? Either they're anime freaks, or they're out to score with Japanese chicks..."
"I don't think that's entirely fair..."

The first thing he did on opening the door, before even crossing the threshold of the classroom, was whip out his cellphone and scan the crowd. I felt my gorge rise, as Koizumi's words came back to me. Was he searching for marks? Was there, on the other side of the world, some chatroom of foreign perverts peering over my classmates, rating them, advising him of which they thought was hottest? Which they thought was easiest? My heart sank as he pointed the phone directly at Yuki. I knew, of course that she could take care of herself if she knew the threat. But would she see it before it was too late? He could ply her with rare foreign volumes, invite her back to his place, perhaps even ask her to accompany him back to England during the holidays... The way his face blanched and he stepped back three paces suggested he had other plans. He tapped furiously at his cell phone, seemingly growing more agitated by the second, then stuffed it back in his pocket and mustered the courage to enter the classroom.

That was when Koizumi's text arrived: "Agency sources confirm: Englishman is magician AND spy!"
"Good morning, class." He said in English. "My name is Bob Howard."

Bob Oscar Frank Howard is the star of Charles Stross 'The Laundry Files'. He's basically an IT geek, a senior techie for the British secret service agency that handles Occult Weirdness. in a universe where Sufficiently Advanced Math literally -is- Magic, advanced computer software can summon Cthulhu. Or accidentally landscape Wolverhampton. A large part of Bob's job is maintaining the office's computer infrastructure, but he's also a qualified field agent and gets sent on several vital missions.

For his other duties... at one point his supervisor calls him on the carpet for spending ten hours a week in his office playing computer games. Her complaint? He should be spending /more/ time on it. His current project at the time was testing the new MMORPG systems for potential occult misuse, and scouting for attempts at same.

Following the Stross thread, I can only think of the havoc that would arise if the Clan of Gruinmarkt found a knotwork pattern that went someplace like El-Hazard or the world of Escaflowne (I'd give the proper name, but Wikipedia is dark). At the very best, you'd have Miriam Beckstein, investigative reporter, causing all sorts of trouble. At worst, you'd have a collection of cutthroat capitalists that make Machiavelli look like a piker when it comes to plots and plans disrupting the local economy and politics.
(This is from Stross' Merchant Princes series, for those unfamiliar. A clan of merchants from a parallel earth discover that they have a genetic trait that allows them to jump dimensions when focused on a knotwork pattern. They use it to profit extensively, both on Gruinmarkt and on Earth, until a lost member, Miriam Beckstein, discovers them and throws a monkey wrench or two into it.)

Sounds like the espers end up buying a country in Africa and deporting all the people that BOFH has managed to convince them are trying to tip her off to things.  The entire marketing department is going to disappear or be deported/transferred on a weekly basis.  All that money going that way is going to lead to fortress cities.  Rich fortress cities... which means ones constantly under attack.  So they keep making more buffer cities and end up with a tide of refugees flooding in.
All this really takes is one student (and Kyon +interface) being dragged along ending up in the right American city.  That and a bet on whether or not Africa can ever be civilized.

If you play Saints Row the Third, and give the Boss the Female 1 voice, you have a character which has been referred to as "A particularly foul-mouthed Commander Shepard."
What if this is a hint?  What if the Boss is Shepard's Ancestor?
What if, following the besting of the Reapers and the Pax Galactica, Jane Shepard finds out that she's the new leader of the now-interstellar Third Street Saints?
