Crossovers That Should Not Be XIII: The Horrors, The Horrors...

#51
Ooh, yes please. Sure it's a Ranma Insertion, but the important points are a)one not seen before and b)done by a good author - one would be "give it a chance" but both together?

Aargh! I suppose you want Ranma's old-sparring-partner-turned-enemy Drake to show up, too...

And that nice advisor down the street, Nenene...

And the Kuno siblings, Gennai and Nancy...

And, of course, the "Gennai" I know best is from Digimon, which adds several additional layers of weirdness. I dunno if that's what you were going for, but that's what's in my head.

In canon Read or Die, Gennai was one of the I-Jin, much like Nancy.

No, no - feel free to derail railroading Rob... I don't mind.

(I don't know whether this is "should" or "should not," but I don't want to write it. Besides, there's a good reason to post it here Look! Shiny!)

On the surface: "Moon Spiral Heart Attack!"

In orbit: "We're detecting Spiral energy."

So... its a Star Trek crossover?
Come to think of it... if the Borg were introduced to Spiral energy... wouldn't they be completely screwed?  Being Spirals would mean not being Borg... seriously, being introduced tohaving indivisual personalliies fries them.  They can't be Anti-Spirals... that defeats the purpose of being Borg in the first place.  Which is all letting people grow to the point they have stuff and ideas and people worth stealing, then taking it...  So the Borg are about evolutioninary steps forward... the Spirals about revolutionary steps forward (even temporary ones)... and the antispirals about stopping people from going forwards.
I think I just proved the Borg are the neutral '0' point on the 'Spiral'/'AntiSpiral' ethical axis.

Subaru Nakajima and Rainbow Dash; A Rainbow Story.
E: "Did they... did they just endorse the combination of the JSDF and US Army by showing them as two lesbian lolicons moving in together and holding hands and talking about how 'intimate' they were?"

Hmmm... Can Subaru learn to produce a weaponised Wing Road sonic boom? Can Rainbow Dash learn the Divine Buster knuckle? Will we finally learn which is straighter, Subaru or a rainbow? And, who'd win in a sidekick sharpshootin' contest, Teana or Applejack?

Yup that's pretty much how I envisioned it, now someone needs to write it.

Twilight is a book about Sparkly vampires, Twilight Sparkle is a pony, Dracula is a vampire book named for said vampire... combine and stir well.

Title: Twilight
Blurb: Applejack is traveling to Canterlot to see the Equestarian noble, Twilight Sparkle. She is begged by the local herd not to go there, because on the eve of the Grand Galloping Gala's Day, when the clock strikes midnight, all the pinky things in the world will come full sway. But business must be done, so Applejack makes her way to the Castle - and then she becomes certain about three things. First, Twilight was a vampire. Second, there was a part of her- and Applejack didn't know how dominant that part might be- that thirsted for her apple-juice. And third, Applejack was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with her.

Given that Rimmer is utterly lacking in any good qualities and that Ciaphas has merely grown up sane in a society that confuses bravery with suicidal fanatacism, it's pretty unfair to compare them.

Ehh, I know people keep saying Subaru was (as Epsilon so succintly put it one night,) as gay as a pack of rainbows... But I really don't see it in the anime. Nanoha Vivid doesn't have anything I could point to either, so I'm not sure where this is all coming from.

Who would win in a pinball match: Tommy (from the rock opera of the same name), or Vash the Stampede?

(Because really, it's the same basic skill set: preternaturally good judgement of ballistics.)

Well there is how she interacts with Teana (the mentioned fondeling, their almost date, etc) and then there is her obsession admiration for Nanoha. Plus the show is set in a [url=http://allthetropes.org/wiki/Pink_Bishoujo_GhettoPink Bishou Gettho[/url] there are not many non-female characters to ship with. Plus there are all the fannon jokes about Hayate's harem. There are some other minor reasons but that is the gist of it.

Another CTSNB:

"I know what you're thinking: What's a middle-aged man doing with a magical girl's weapon? Well, to tell you the truth, in all the confusion I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is Raising Heart, the most powerful magical sidearm in the known worlds, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"
