Mine, Mitch, and Steph's mother is having a medical emergancy, so we're not able to get to any computer other then there's, and a laptop, JC came
with us. We'll be off of CoH for a couple weeks, but don't worry, we're fine. Except of course besides havign withdrawl symptoms from not being
able CoH for awhile. If you need to reach us, you can post on this, or get at us at our e-mail account, [url=mailto:EmperorJaden@yahoo.com[/url], which we all share. Hope you're all doing good, and try to have fun without us!

  RIAA default judgment denied

The Inquirer: http://www.theinquirer.net/gb/inquirer/ ... eory-falls]RIAA's 'making available' theory falls

At least in New Haven, "making available" is not sufficient proof that copyright infringement actually happened; "distribution requires an 'actual dissemination' of a copy".

(Slowly but surely, the courts are actually requiring the RIAA to follow the law of the land...)

So, what RPG system would you use for this book?

Gurporia: the Green Plague, by Wade Woodbury

"Gurporia was the most beautiful land anyone could imagine. The Gurps who lived in this wonderful place had done so for countless generations, until now. A massive plague, the Green Plague, is devouring all of Gurporia, which forces a small band of Gurps on a tiring quest for their survival. Their journey is by far, not safe, as they encounter savage Tolspick, conniving Barbits and numerous other foe as they struggle to find a safe haven."

I'm sure there's an appropriate game system to adapt this book to, but I can't imagine what it might be...

Announcing my recent acquisition of a fairly modest Gateway wireless laptop, henceforth named Nogitsune.

Now I just need to strip Vista Premium to Vista Basic or XP and load my favorite programs and peripheral drivers. [Image: happy.gif]

Definitely CoH-capable, with the addition of a USB numpad and Optical mouse. Hopefully this will enable me to do more stuff without having to wait for my Dad
to finish his school work online. [Image: smile.gif]

  Microsoft is in trouble now...
Posted by: Black Aeronaut - 02-25-2008, 11:46 AM - Forum: General Chatter - Replies (10)

According to this article on DailyTech, Microsoft labled a
lot of severely underpowered computers as being 'Vista Capable.' Sure, this isn't really a big deal. The computers can run Vista, just not at all
like how a real computer can. Nah, the trouble is (and this is what the people in the comments thread keep on missing, dammit) that the prices of these
machines were jacked up. To quote one Microsoft employee who himself got suckered into the scheme, "I PERSONALLY got burnt ... Are we seeing this from a lot of customers? ... I now have a $2,100 e-mail
machine."

Buffy... What are the good fics?
Posted by: David Lewis - 02-25-2008, 02:05 AM - Forum: Other People's Fanfiction - Replies (12)

Here we go for the fourth time. This time i'm on a Buffy kick, and I've been having rather poor luck at finding anything engrossing to read, and given
the success of my previous Sailor Moon, Dragonball and Tenchi Muyo fic searchs, and given the the huge variety of experience and depth of knowledge of the
subject of fanfiction here (and buffy mentions aplenty), I was hoping for some more suggestions? What in your opinion are the best Buffyverse stories out
there?
