I suppose this could have gone in OPF, but it's just a point of trivia.
Ten years ago tomorrow, I created a text file and wrote, "It began with a shooting star." Unusually, that first intro scene survived into the final-so-far revisions of my fic Bubblegum Disaster. I'd hoped to finish Ch 6 for posting to mark the occasion, since it includes the close of 215's introduction arc, but unless tonight's session is unprecedentedly huge it's not to be.

Acyl? Ankhani? I'm sorry if Sharon Kov disappeared on you and you were still there. At least that mission was already completed when it happened!
I can't get back on right now. Keeps saying "DB Server Lost" or something. I'll try again later. But curious if you had the same problem? -Logan

Remember the scene in the last chapter of "Once More With Feeling" when sex-kitten Rei walked into that Games Workshop where Aida and his buddies were playing Warhammer 40k?
There was something in that vein in thread last night where other Flames of War players were discussing who is our nemesis in our little community.

Oh my god, I've been ignoring this forum again.
It's made worse this time because I'm pretty sure that there are at least two new users whose first messages are somewhere in the threads I haven't read, and thus never received proper greetings from me when they showed up. Apologies in advance to whoever you are.

| Chinese wu gong dramas |

I have recently found the coolness that is Chinese wu gong dramas. I've been working my way through Xun Qin Ji (A Step into the Past; atm on ep. 22) and Xue Shan Fei Hu (Fox Volante of the Snowy Mountain; Snowy Mountain Flying Fox).
I did take a look at Yang Warriors but that style of fighting and the actors/characters in it weren't that fun/interesting to me. So, is anyone else interested in these types of dramas? What other series would you suggest?
Thanks!

I've been struggling for time on my shared computer lately, and also getting sucked into my fourth major FPS game ever: Half-life 2. [Other 3? GoldenEye, Perfect Dark and Portal]
I should be back around some time later in the week...

Not precisely on-topic for this forum, but... Quote: BY MOST OBSERVERS' RECKONING, between 150 and 200 real-life superheroes, or "Reals" as some call themselves, operate in the United States, with another 50 or so donning the cowl internationally.
Article here.
To be fair, some look pretty pathetic, but some... to quote Young Frankenstein, "It! Just! Might! Work!"
