  It's raining ash....

Right now the SoCal wildifres is having an effect even where I live which is in Los Angeles.
Thank God the Malibu fire is over, but the other wildfires (even in as far south as San Diego) is making the sun turn orange. And the ash has started to fall....
The statistics so far are mind boggling...

  Gatesong?
Posted by: DHBirr - 10-25-2007, 01:40 AM - Forum: The Game Everyone Loves To Play - Replies (6)

While driving long distance the other day, I played a soundtrack to keep boredom from putting me to sleep at the wheel ... and suddenly realized this might well make a Gatesong.
Hey, with these lyrics, it's practically a themesong for the Walk!
"Journey to the Past" (from the animated movie Anastasia, in case anyone didn't recognize it)
Heart, don't fail me now!
Courage, don't desert me!
Don't turn back now that we're here
People always say
Life is full of choices
No one ever mentions fear!
Or how a road can seem so long
How the world can seem so vast
Courage see me through
Heart I'm trusting you
On this journey...to the past
Somewhere down this road
I know someone's waiting
Years of dreams just can't be wrong
Arms will open wide
I'll be safe and wanted
Finally home where I belong
Well, starting here, my life begins
Starting now, I'm learning fast
Courage see me through
Heart I'm trusting you
On this journey...to the past
Heart don't fail me now!
Courage don't desert me!
Home, Love, Family
There was once a time
I must have had them too
Home, Love, Family
I will never be complete
Until I find you...
One step at a time,
One hope, then another
Who knows where this road may go
Back to who I was
On to find my future,
Things my heart still needs to know
Yes, let this be a sign!
Let this road be mine!
Let it lead me to my past
Courage see me through
Heart I'm trusting you
To bring me home...
At last!
At last!
Courage see me through
Heart I'm trusting you
yea...
Anastasia came out in November '97, so Doug is unlikely to have heard this song in Warrior's World. The big question is whether he'd run across it in any of the worlds he visits -- even if they have it, will anything call this song to his attention?

  Special Costume Event

So, in discussion of Things To Do In Pocket D On Halloween, we came up with the idea.
Have an Arena Match... with everyone in costume.
For example, Team A: PPD Cops. Team B: Trolls.
Take lots of screenshots. Record a demo or two, if possible.
And if someone wants to take the time to make a music video of it... so much the better. [Image: smile.gif] --
