WTF Images: Hello, Seven!

Bob, that uniformed group shot is cosplayers of the Honor Harrington series.  I didn't look closely, but I think they're all Royal Manticoran Navy—except maybe the one in the lighter blue-green.  (If you hover over the picture, the filename says "Harrington-verse cosplayers.")

Copyright/License question about Star Trek: Bridge Commander
Posted by: robkelk - 02-14-2017, 05:12 AM - Forum: General Chatter - Replies (6)

While going through the freebie wiki, I discovered that three downloads were listed as having been exported from Star Trek: Bridge Commander. Is this legal?

(I don't know; I don't have a copy of the game so I can't look at the license. There's an outside chance that this might be a permitted action by the game license... but, for some odd reason (cough cough Paramount cough) I suspect it isn't. Does anyone still have a copy of Star Trek: Bridge Commander?)

  The Mass - When 1 "o fortuna" a day isn't enough

heavily based on o Fortuna, here is The Mass by ERA, just in case you ever need to get round the 24 hour rule.  I don't think I've posted this before but my apologies if I did.

So, I went to bed last night at 10 pm... and woke up at 2 am and couldn't get back to sleep. I have been awake for a bit over six hours right now and am not looking forward to the state of my consciousness come the end of the work day.

There is a youtube playlist called Epic Rock, it includes both 'Heroes' and 'Get Up' which I linked recently.  You may want to check it out Bob (also the related playlist Epic Pop)

  Two Steven Universe Songs
Posted by: Jorlem - 02-09-2017, 09:11 AM - Forum: The Game Everyone Loves To Play - Replies (3)

I went through the songs, and picked out three that I don't think are spoilery.
The first song is "Strong in the Real Way":

Lyrics:

Quote:Some say I have no directionThat I'm a lightspeed distractionBut that's a kneejerk reactionStill this is the final frontierEverything is so clearTo my destiny I steerThis life in the stars is all I've ever knownStars and stardust and infinite space is my only home
[Chorus 1: Greg]But the moment that I hit the stageThousands of voices are calling my nameAnd I know in my heartIt's been worth it all of the while
And as my albums fly off of the shelvesHanding out autographed pics of myselfThis life I've chose isn't easyIt sure is one heck of a ride
[Chorus 2: Greg]At the moment that I hit the stageI hear the universe calling my nameAnd I know deep down in my heartI have nothing to fear
And as the solar wind blows through my hairKnowing I have so much more left to shareA wandering spirit who's tearing it's wayThrough the cold atmosphere
[Outro: Greg]I fly like a cometSoar like a cometCrash like a cometI'm just a comet
Quote:
For this, I'm thinking some sort of flight power, likely with the ability to survive and fly in space.

There are a ton of other songs, some so powerful I still get emotional listening to them, even after dozens of times hearing them. Unfortunately, they all contain elements that would spoil parts of the show, either lyrics or characters, which I really would not want to do.

Did you say "yes"? If you did, you just fell for a scam. Don't do that on the phone.
