I can't recall where I read it, but it was in the last week or so -- an editorial about how Truman had that "The Buck Stops Here" sign on his desk as President, but Trump is basically blaming anyone and anything he can think of for any failure or even small problem.  According to Trump, there are apparently several dozen massive conspiracies all working to lie about and undermine his administration.

It's an interesting (as in faux-Chinese-curse) article, in that it tells you how to secure a system against leaks, how to bypass that securing, how to re-secure against the bypass, and so on. However, I'm not sure whether the writer understands modern network and cloud architecture.

Power - A 'recognize person by a unique musical sound I hear from their heart' power which would be good for finding friends/allies when hidden or obscured, but I think it has a much more useful MASSIVE effect on finding simulacra songs. If it doesn't automatically reveal each person's individual song right off, it'd surely be a huge help in finding the song that does fit. 'Hmm this person sounds kind of blues-y with a strong drumbeat,.... let me look for songs in that style that have lyrics that vaguely match their personality/powers.....aha!'

So I'm in the process of applying for an apartment closer to where my parents live, along with a job meeting same criteria. There are aspects of this that I'm still not entirely thrilled about, but never mind that for now.

At the end of the apartment application, there's a section about how the requested information about race, ethnicity, and sex designation is requested due to federal requirements, etc etc etc. Okay, that's understandable.

Except for the part where at no point on any page of this thing did it *ask* for any of those things. o.O

(Also not sure why it's asking for two telephone numbers in the rental history section. It's got my contact number in a different place, and one's for the property owner... what's the other supposed to be?)
