Rule 3 of Mushroom Kingdom: Nobody Joins Mushroom Kingdom. Mushroom Kingdom Seeks out its Members.
Rule 4 of Mushroom Kingdom: A Farmer becomes eligible upon independant discovery of a viable method to Plant Mushrooms.

Rule 5 of Mushroom Kingdom: A Member shall not knowingly assist another Farmer in the discovery of a viable method to Plant Mushrooms.
Rule 6 of Mushroom Kingdom: No member of Mushroom Kingdom may intentionally plant Mushrooms without due legal authority
Rule 7 of Mushroom Kingdom: All members of Mushroom Kingdom must do their utmost to ensure no Mushrooms are planted in Civilised Space.
Rule 8 of Mushroom Kingdom: The Penalty for Transgression of any of these rules, is banning from life.

Welp, I just checked the Somerset County court's webpage, and as it so happens, I have to report to jury duty tomorrow.  (I've known for weeks that I've been summoned, but you never know until the night before if they really need you to come in.)  If I can wrest it from Peggy's grasp, I'll take my tablet w/keyboard with me and try to keep writing DW8 Chapter 5, otherwise I expect I'll catch up on a lot of my reading.

I'm TD, 27, a Libra and very amateur writer from South Australia.

I was lead to Fenspace by a story posted by JakeGrey on SD.Net  . Spent the last month or so devouring the Wiki and the AO3 story list and some posts here on the forum and am greatly intrigued by the setting. Such an interesting premise.

An idea has been floating around in my head for a story (Which I’m planning on making an Infinities one since it’ll be me and rather sue-ish). Hopefully it won't be too bad.

A few songs I came across online.  From the scooby doo cartoons there are 2 Hex Girl songs (one video with cartoon footage for both songs, and individual lyric videos)  that would appear to be mind changing songs


I'm an Hex Girl is either a Mind control song or a simulacrum of the singers (although I can't imagine the latter being very useful).
Earth, Wind, Fire and Air has a few lines that suggest elemental powers, but my first thought is another mind changing spell.  I would have the people who hear the song ignore/forget their current plans and instead focus on an environmental issue for a couple of issues.  It could be useful if an evil event just has to be completed at the precise time and you can distract everyone for a precious minute or so.
Finally Maybe Tommorrow (Theme from Littlest Hobo) by Terry Bush 
I see as a type of Meta Song allowing someone to follow Doug through the portal for a single step before returning to their own world.  I have also wondered if it could be a gate song with all the traveling references and I could imagine it making a decent Drunkard's Walk theme song or AMV.

For those who don't know about it, the Anime Addventure is a collaborative fan fiction site.  It's kind of hard to explain without just sending you there; basically any "chapter" on the site is open to anyone following it up, and plot lines can fork or spawn endlessly.  At last count it had well over a quarter million individual episodes spread through hundreds of storylines.

But it might not get any more.  Kestrel (better known as Gregg "Metroanime" Sharp to those who started their fic reading in the 1990s) has abandoned the site after apparently being harassed in the "behind the story" comment threads, and a number of other prolific contributors seem to have vanished with him.  The site, which used to get anywhere from five to fifteen new episodes a day, has had only eight new posts since August 1.

I'm not trying to rally people to save the Addventure -- I can barely focus on my regular writing, let alone responding to a round robin collaborative site.   I just wanted to alert folks to its possible end so they can find and save favorite storylines, like "No Tendo" and "A Rose At Hogwarts".

(This is why I always change Windows Update to "notify but do not automatically download".)
