Saw a thread over on the SJGames forums...
Posted by: robkelk - 04-07-2012, 05:05 PM - Forum: General DW Chatter - Replies (3)

...and thought "if anybody's a ridiculously powerful character, then so are the Warriors." However, I'm busy today, so if folks are willing, http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?t=90376]Let's stat some ridiculously powerful characters as a group and I'll copy the stats over to that thread for kibitzing amongst the GURPS-heads there.

Besides, Bob wants to do something like this for the IST update to Fourth Edition, right? May as well take advantage of (a) the kindness of strangers and (b) the policy that says anything posted to the SJGames forums can be used in an SJGames product.

(lyrics in video)

Doug likes to style himself after Bugs Bunny, but sometimes a full-on manic Daffy Duck works better. Here's one fo the songs that he can use for it, mildly enhancing his speed, strength and reflexes, but mostly supercharging his chaotic aura, so instead of not having many noticeable effects aside from deflecting ranged attacks, truly toony antics become possible - pies, disguises, and anvils from nowhere, gravity dependent on noticing you or an object should be falling, a painted hole in a wall or floor becoming real, shadows and reflections behaving differently from the caster, etc.

Proposal for a small modification to an existing character
Posted by: robkelk - 04-07-2012, 01:36 AM - Forum: Fenspace - Replies (4)

I've noticed in my FenWiki editing that a certain character is referenced in writeups of many otherwise-unrelated places, events, and organizations - so much so that I'm tempted to add a quirk to the character's writeup to that effect. Thing is, she isn't my character...

So... Cobalt, do I have permission to add this to A.C.'s list of Quirks?

We're All Connected: Because of fame, notoriety, hero-worship, or some other factor, the first thing a large minority of Fenspace will ask on hearing of a new group, faction, or invention is "How's A.C. Peters connected to it?" In the absence of an accurate answer, rumours will spread throughout Fenspace and will be difficult if not impossible to squelch later. (This is part of why so many people call A.C. "Sailor Mars" or "Saber White".)

(I may have posted this before, but it isn't as if other folks (coughBobcough) haven't posted the same thing in consecutive years...)

And on the third day, He arose, rolled the stone from in front of the tomb, and walked once more upon Earth.

A passer-by waved at Him, pointed at the stone, and said, "Close the door! What, were you born in a barn?"

While in a used-book store recently, I found copies of the Tokyopop release of Sakura Wars volumes 2 and 3. If anyone happens to spot (or have) volume 1 or 4, please keep me in mind...

Tried writing a filksong, but I'm not happy with it. For one thing, it's missing an entire verse...

Feel free to http://forums.sjgames.com/showpost.php? ... tcount=130]read the lyrics here (if you dare) and offer constructive criticism in this thread.

  Dodged a bullet. Again.

I both love and fear this time of year. And today was the fear.
Had a rash of tornadoes go through the area here in D/FW. One caused quite a bit of destruction not more than 4 miles from where I live. There were something like 4 tornadoes in the area total this day. And it's not over quite yet.
I can't help but think I was tempting fate too much with my post in the April Fools thread over here.
Video of one of the other tornadoes in the area. This is not the one that came down near me. But I used to work at a location right next to that truck/trailer yard. The second video however, is of the one that came down near where I live.
