If you're wondering about the number iteration - yeah, I had two previous threads, here and here, though in all fairness the second one was pretty short. Let's see if I can keep this going for longer.

This is an old one; I did the original lineart back in, jeez, late 2008 or sometime in 2009, I really can't recall at this point. Finally went back and finished the colours for this. I'd originally intended to draw an alleyway background, and I suppose theoretically I still might, but after I added the blood splatter it seemed...I dunno, a little too much detail.

The characters are MicroShade's (MicroHue, whatever he's calling himself today). Well. Not the unfortunate Longbow guy, obviously. The other two.

Nate Beeler of the Washington Examiner came up with a very harsh and gut wrenching cartoon that very harshly describes the response of all to many pundits and partisans to the the massacre in Tucson in an analogy that I find myself in full agreement with as far as the feelings behind it. I seem to have polarized a good number of my friends with a joke I made. Some of them like it, and others want to decorate a pike with my head. Since people around here enjoy a good pun (or, perhaps more appropriately, a bad pun) I wanted to gauge reactions here.

Yesterday, one of my roommates and I were at Barnes & Noble, he to browse and me to pick up two Dresden Files books. Having completed my objective (but, sadly, without finding a copy of Changes) we made our way to the counter, which is directly across from the sprawling Nook display. I turned to my roommate.

"Hey."

"Hmm?"

I gestured to the Nooks and, with the cheesiest grin I could make, said, "Nyuk nyuk nyuk!"

I'm pretty sure the only things that stopped him from throttling me was that we were in public and I was his ride.

So: Yay? Nay?

Um yeah while this may be old new to some. Many Iron Man anime apparently exist, yet the one I'm referring to is talked about some http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/20 ... ted-states]here. It's supposedly set in the Iron Man movie-verse it comes from Madhouse and so far I'm undecided 'bout it. Their Tony Stark looks a bit odd, something to do with the iris they're using for his eyes.

The only english fansubber that I've found is using the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matroska]Matroska codec - some thing I've never liked, due to playback issues.
And I can't think of anything else to say as I've only seen ep 1 so far. So I'll probably add more later.
