Memo
TO: All Students
FROM: Professor Lynn Minmay
RE: End of Term promotions
Now that finals are over its time to turn our attention to students extra curricular activities. Please remember that class standings *ARE* affected by these, we are a superhero academy after all.
Therfore, I will be holding office hours over the weekend and handing out promotions to deserving students from 6pm to 9pm f(pacific standard time) this Friday through Monday (01.29.2010-02.01.2010). Students desiring a promotion should seek me out and show me one of the following:
1) A task force completion badge earned in the last 3 months
2) one or more Halloween event badges
3) A Winter Lord or BNY rescue badge.
Also I have corrected the error in permssions for accessing our storage systems. All students are now able to store and retrieve items from the Enhancemnt table and salvage racks.
Hear that thunder rolling till it seems to split the sky?

Absolutely AMAZING track here!
Now - before you get the wrong idea and start wondering "When the Heck did Mark Hamill record THIS?"
Well I misled you a bit with the title. And so did the guy who uploaded this.
It's NOT Mark Hamill.
It's someone doing such a DEAD ON impression of his version of the Joker voice (And laugh!) that I almost couldn't believe it myself! But checking the guy's own channel reveals several more voice tests in the same vein!
I mean, holy CRAP!

...but I have an interview tomorrow morning (Friday 1/29) with a company in Lakewood, NJ that provides a number of services, including marketing and IT, to healthcare firms. Wish me luck.

http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/st ... ed_1129580]Gene Roddenberry's son and Ron Howard teaming up to revive The Questor Tapes. If you don't know what The Questor Tapes is, well... you're probably much younger than me. It was one of Roddenberry's early post-Star Trek projects. It was apparently supposed to be a 13-episode miniseries (this before Roots technically invented the miniseries), about a sophisticated android created but not completed by a dead scientist. As a result of ham-handed attempts to find out what's on it, the team which completes the android accidentally scrambles part of the tape of data which is supposed to be fed into the android's brain as part of its activation. Because of this the android, upon activation, has no clue what its purpose is, and ends up following several vague clues to find out why it was built. It acquires a partner (played by Mike "B.J. Hunnicutt" Farrell before his role on M*A*S*H) along the way, and eventually does discover what it was created for. The first feature-length episode was broadcast as a TV movie on NBC in 1974, but the rest of the series was never made.
In any case, if they're reviving The Questor Tapes, I'll be looking forward to seeing what they do with it.
Oh, and its IMDB entry is http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0070585/]here. In case you're interested.

I was just checking out the Antarctic Press website (www.antarctic-press.com/html/version_01/index.php) looking to see if any series I'm following came out this week when I noticed the newest news item. They're apparently looking for preorders for the Gold Digger Gold Brick V (a massive compilation of issues). If anyone doesn't collect the individual issues but is interested in compilations, you may want to enter your preorder (I got the 'print error' versions of the Gold Brick I and II a few year back so that I could read all of the early adventures without spending hundreds of dollars).

3/4 or so of the times I've tried to post just now, I get the "Hey, this is a private party, get lost" screen from Yuku.
I have to back up and try a few times before it acknowledges that yes, I'm logged in.

It's something that we've discussed to death here in the past, so I thought it would be safe to just add this...
Named Sailors
Very, very occasionally, a Senshi (whether a full-time faction member or a Sammie reservist) will be granted the honor of being listed as a Named Senshi. This honor is never given out on a whim, because there is only one Named Senshi for any given installation or planet.
Named Senshi are the ones that have proven themselves to be exemplars of the ideals of the Crystal Millennium. Being compassionate, swift and sure in battle, and attractive are usually good indicators of potential to become a Named Senshi.
While a Named Senshi is allowed to add the "star seed" sunburst to her (or rarely his) insignia, many don't bother. Technically, Planetary Senshi (Named Senshi who have been awarded planetary names) outrank other Named Senshi, but since there is currently only one Planetary Senshi and she doesn't throw her weight around, this rarely matters.
Known Named Senshi include A.C. Peters, Sailor Mars; Yayoi Fujisawa, Sailor Stellvia; and Anika Springfield, Sailor Atalante.
