As my Christmas present to myself, changes are afoot at FenWiki.

The first change is, we're moving to our own domain! Once I get things sorted, we're moving to

Secondly, I'm making a command decision; we're moving to MediaWiki. I've got a 90%-complete backup of the wiki already formatted for MW, and I'll take care of getting the rest of it (mostly Mystery pages) moved over. All you guys have to do is set up new user accounts when everything's ready. That will be by the end of New Year's Day, even if I have to push an all-nighter to get everything out the door.

Third... there is no third. Just sit back, relax and have a decent end of solstice holiday season, content in the knowledge that Your Crippled Moderator is working hard behind the scenes to improve your Fenspace experience.

Does anyone have any expertise to share on the mobile browser market? I've recently acquired a Wireless-capable PDA and I find that PocketIE by itself does
not properly display websites such as FFNet.

Opera Mobile seems to be in the running, and another source claims MS Powertoys for Pocket IE includes the necessary kit, but I'd like to see if anyone
else has had any experience with it.

In case you've been wondering what I do with all that time I'm not either in work or on COH...
I've been painting minis. Lots and lots of Battletech minis that I picked up for cheap.
So far my goal is to have at least a company each for a unit for each faction.
Units picked so far:
Davion: 7th Crucis Lancers
Steiner: 3rd Lyran Guards
Kurita: 7th Sword of Light
Marik: unsure but probably 2nd or 5th Marik Militia.
Liao: unsure
Merc: homebrew
Pirate: homebrew
Clan: Jade Falcon Rho Galaxy, possibly more to come
