The first actor to play Worf's son Alexander died on 5 January ... at 33.  WTF, God?

Quote:[A holodeck scenario set in the "Ancient West" includes an obvious prostitute flashing some leg]
Worf:  You programmed this yourself?!
Alexander:  Well ... Mr. Barclay helped.
DHBirr, watching, guessing how Worf would respond:  "I'll have to talk with Mr. Barclay!"
Worf:  I shall have to have a little talk with Mr. Barclay!

"The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that this was some killer weed."

For those curious enough, her obit at post-punk.com has several photos, including two side-by-side with an almost identical drawing of Death.

I'd consider that a borderline case in terms of "cursed" status. I mean, yes, any man's death diminishes me, but I for one find I can bear this particular diminution with enormous fortitude.

i'm sorry, but i have to say this. Occasionally someone brightens this world simply by leaving it, and while it is not our place to label such individuals ourselves, there are simply some we can rejoice in their passing on to their final justice.

“We can never undo what we have done. We can never go back in time. We write history with our decisions and our actions. But we also write history with our responses to those actions. We can leave the pain and the damage in our wake, unattended, or we can do the work of acknowledging and fixing, to whatever extent possible, the harm that we have caused.”
