I just got off the phone with her a minute or two ago, and she's reading this thread right now. Everybody wave!

Tell her to feign being sick a bit longer.... its probobly dryier in the hospital than anywhere else in the (water)Garden state.

She's not the only one to've had a doc poking around in her head. Unfortunately mine was a dentist. Still. *waves*

Actually, she's in Delaware... but the thought is appreciated.

It is. I am currently planning on going down to see her on Wednesday, but I need to firm that up with her.

I got back from seeing her about 90 minutes ago. She is in both good health and good spirits, and is up and about as if she didn't just have brain surgery a week ago. She gets the stitches out on Monday, in fact.

Sadly, it won't -- she's going to be on anti-seizure (and other) medications for a while, and she's on medical leave from work until May. It's going to complicate her life for at least six more weeks, and maybe longer.

But to be fair, the worst of it is well over.

...Heh. Seven years later, this whole business is practically forgotten. No recurrence, no further issues or need for medication.

Lets out a long breath.

Sweet gods Bob, don't scare us like that. Saw that thread pop to the top when I logged in and got a bit of a fright afraid something bad had happened.

Sorry, Rajvik. I was going through back threads, saw this one, and actually said to myself "Wow, she did have brain surgery a few years back, didn't she?" I was so amused at how easily it had become one of those forgotten things that I just had to comment on it.
