Don't Look Down a very flight-song type piece that may allow for Cris Reeves movie-style flying with someone else too as long as they're careful and don't let go the way Lois did in the famous "Can you read my mind?" scene.

Pull Me Under (cover) - I dunno really, but seriously, it's good, and less grim than the title makes it sound

Stand and Deliver is a good one for when there's a physically able but disorganized or intimidated group too big for Doug to protect alone, to inspire them to act

Oh My My is probably the most subtle effect I've proposed yet for Doug - all it would really do is boost him physically from his usual "impressively athletic even in the funny pages" to "is that guy even human?" and make his chaos field a little more likely to make things go explicitly in his favor instead of just weird. Possibly with the drawback of not being able to stop the song's effect until its full duration elapses, due to the "I can't stop" lyrics, but with this effect it's probably not a big problem aside from limiting the ability to switch. A solid choice for when he just needs a little more Looney Tunes, but not actual blasts of lightning etc. - and it's got a beat you can dance to, and lyrics you can sing along with! That always makes a fight better!

Alternately, it might be a track to spar to, that keeps everyone in the fight healthy enough to keep going even after taking a hit and energetic enough to want to. Handy for training students once they've got some basics down, as he notably does in the SM and Eva steps at least.

This is literally just my thoughts as the films go on.  No timestamps, but everything is in sequence.  There's bits where I've transcribed dialogue from the film, and bits where I've jotted down ideas for dialogue with Ben.  (Keep in mind, a lot of this might wind up in my literary compost bin.)

Alright, so while I was looking through the first PMMM Movie (Beginnings) I got it into my head that at some point, Ben is going to be with Homura when they face down a Witch at some point in time.  Of course, this being post-Masu infusion, Ben is going to have MONDO FIREPOWER.

Ben will want to leave an impression at this point, so I needed to know how much of an antimatter charge he'd need to expend.

Here's the thing.  I'm not 100% sure, but I think ATC might have gotten it wrong when he had the Goodfellow yielding about 0.5 kt-TNT with 1g-AM.  Here's what I dug up on Reddit....

Even though the byte count has recently slowed down, it's not because I'm not working as much on the new chapter.  In fact, quite the opposite.

As people have no doubt gathered, I'm trying to give most if not all of the senshi some pre-team cameos and vignettes.  Ami's popped up a couple of times already in the story of course, as has Minako.  And Rei's scene has shown up here in another thread.

Right now, I'm working on Makoto.  And it's slow going because it's... well, let me just say that I'm sure some readers are going to be very upset with me for the way I filled certain holes in her back story and explained some canon unknowns and uncertainties.  And trying to get this all into one short scene...  it's not that it's difficult, it's because it's emotionally wrenching, the way I've chosen to do this.  It's taking me a while to get it right.

I know I'm riffing off of Bob's fanfic here... Characters that are of interest to Powers, or beloved by Powers, or protected by Powers get the symbol of those Powers associated to them somehow. Usually, this means other Powers treat the symbols as warning signs - "Hands off this one, s/he is one of mine" - but a few will take them as challenges. And if Salem can detect them, she'll treat people with them as high-priority targets, simply because of her hatred of the Powers.

So, who has one, or is likely to have one?

As BA mentions in this post, Ben has the "Grand Valknut" associated to him in Yggdrasil's records, marking him as of interest to Odin.


Then there's the circled-pawprint that is Cat Sith's mark. Two characters received that sign before being brought into the Metacontinuity: Akari and Aria.

The Sailor Senshi have their heart-shape-influenced astrological symbols, Sakura has her crowned-winged-heart, and Washuu has her crab, each showing that they're their own Powers.

Skuld's symbol is the circled-mallet. As yet, she hasn't gifted it to anyone in the Metacontinuity... or, if she has, we haven't seen it. (Maybe Nene Romanova, wherever she is, will receive Skuld's symbol. Maybe Kazari Uiharu will. Maybe some other techno-heroes will, too. But, as yet, they haven't.)

Keiichi would have Belldandy's symbol. I have no idea what that symbol is.

Rob doesn't have one, nor does Hyoga; they've been remade by Hvergelmir instead. Once they start noticing the Powers' symbols (they have Skuld's glasses and thus can see such things), Rob will come up with a winged-droplet for the two of them to wear in circumstances where showing the symbol of one's Power is appropriate, but it won't have any eldritch or occult significance. Anybody can draw a symbol, but if it isn't applied by a Power, then it's just a picture.
