I see that Gov. Palin has alredy started her bid for the presidency in 2012. Quoting from http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/election ... alin-.html]this article: Quote:I'm like, ‘OK, God, if there is an open door for me somewhere ... don't let me miss the open door.’ And if there is an open door in ’12 or four years later, and if it is something that is going to be good for my family, for my state, for my nation, an opportunity for me, then I'll plow through that door.
(Which lead to the comedy/satire folks over at CBC Radio to ask "Didn't American voters already show her the door?")
Does anybody else think she should have waited at least until the new guy gets sworn in to start making noises about wanting his job?

The song 'The Internet is for Porn' causes any internet capable system in Doug's AoE to be flooded with porn. pics, movies, ads/links to porn
sites, from basic sex stuff to the weirdest fetishes going.

| Angels in anime...? |

(I asked this over on Usenet; I'll probably get some more replies if I ask here, too.)
I've got a reason (involving that angels-and-demons-RPG that Bob's worked on in the past) to compile a list of anime that have western-style angels as characters. They don't need to be absolutely accurate depictions of Judaeo-Christian-Islamic angels, but they do need to at least look the part...
Ah My Goddess! (TV) - the goddesses have assistant angels that are actually a part of them; each angel reflects her goddess' physical and emotional state.
Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne - assuming the anime is reasonably close to the manga, there's an angel and a fallen angel in the main cast.
Risky/Safety - Safety is an "apprentice angel".
Any more?
