| Silent Death: Stalker ground up build |

So, having dealt with my old Stalker concept not really being that synergistic with the Hide/AS/Critical Stalker dynamic because of using DB, I rerolled a new stalker using a powerset I imagine will be slightly more effective.
Shadow, at the moment, is not very far along. Only level 4. However, I'm mostly tossing this out to see what's recommended for slotting. I've never dealt with Ninjitsu, for all that it's almost SR in a funny hat, with a few extra tricks. So do I slot primarily for defense? Try to KO them quickly and fade away to Hide for another AS?
My main goal is to subvert the "One second burst damage/fragile as hell" Stalker dynamic without resorting to Willpower. Essentially, I'm trying to build a Scrapper out of a Stalker. The budget is....not exceptionally expensive, as redside's much less viable for me to farm inf for her. Beyond that, go crazy.
The build below is what powers I see taking, but if there are suggestions for alternate power choices, go ahead and speak up on those too. I'm not picky.

I discovered the Wave Convoy origin story in my archives, and decided to add it to the Wiki... but I hit some sort of bug. When I tried posting the entire story, I got a blank page; I finally got it to accept 250 lines of text. (I'm guessing I hit a limit at 255 lines, maybe...?) Most of the story is on http://fnord.sandwich.net/fenwiki/doku. ... he_alien_1]here, the remainder is currently on the discussion page for that Wiki page.
(Oh, and http://fnord.sandwich.net/fenwiki/doku. ... he_alien_3]the Gnarlycurl origin story is up, too.)

Here's an apocryphal flashfic. I hope people enjoy it.
While Doug, Chris and the God Squad await the coming little Armageddon, here's a review of somewhat of
what Morisato Keiichi was up to during the preceding days:
Received a pile of junk electronics and scrap metal from the
head of his motorcycle club.
Showed a trans-dimensional traveler around his home.
Helped to fix up a super-science flying motorcycle.
Went to classes.
Gave and received love and affection with his goddess
girlfriend.
Became a temporary teacher at a motorcycle school.
Confronted the ghost of a destroyed forest, then helped to
replant it.
Kidnapped by robot aliens.
Traveled back in time to help his parents get together.
Went to see a movie; didn't enjoy it.
Forced by classmates to help make a movie. Due to a series of strange coincidences, became the star of the movie.
Chased by fairies.
Won a motorcycle race against the dreaded Nine Purple Lilies
girl motorcycle gang; became their honorary 'big sister.'
Was the focus and a combatant in a multiversal war for all
existence against a terrible dimension-spanning monster which caused the destruction of all reality and then its prompt reconstitution, leaving no memory of
its occurrence-as it does.
Baked bread.

| [FenWiki] [Admin] Poll: Changes |

Hokay, so.
For those of you who don't have admin access to the wiki, we've reached over 400 pages since the wiki began. That's a lot of stuff, and everybody
who's contributed should feel proud. At this point, I've been thinking about what & where the wiki should go next, and I wanted to throw out a
proposal to y'all.
Over the last week or so I've been playing with MediaWiki. It's not a very forgiving beast at an admin level, but it *is* more flexible than what
we've got right now, and as the pagecount and imagecount rises I think it might be worth exploring moving all our stuff over from the Dokuwiki platform.
Pros for changing wikis:
* We get greater flexibility in categorization, layout, etc.
* Adding future pages would be that much easier (no more long-assed namespace chains, for one thing)
Cons for changing wikis:
* Having to convert all the pages from Doku syntax to MW syntax.
* Steeper learning curve for the more advanced features.
As it stands, we could probably benefit from a general reorganization. We can do that without changing the wiki engine, though it'll probably be the same
amount of total work. And since *I* can't come up with a defining answer here, not to mention that Fenspace is powered by the Will of the Hive, I'm
opening up debate. The poll will be open for two weeks, so everybody has a chance to vote. In the meantime, if you've got strong opinions - or just want to
tell me I'm nuts - go ahead and comment. The Mod Has Spoken.

A paper like material that is as thermal conductive as a diamond with the same level of toughness and strength, but even better it is also as electrically
conductive as copper wire.
---------------
http://www.technovelgy.com/ct/Science-F ... wsNum=1939
---------------
It looks like this material will soon be available in commercial amounts and that is exciting especially if in mass production it can be made competitive with
the price of copper wire.

Hello! *waves* My name is Amanda. You may know me as the author of BGC Next Gen, Farewell to Arms, and Half Moon ^_^ Bob also used a version of Yumeko in
DWII.
The subject title is a reference to the fact that although my chara was used in DW, I have never really actually read any of it T_T* I guess the sheer size is
intimidating me, LOL! (I wonder if people feel the same way when they see mine) Well, guess I better start somewhere...
