A new type of fusion power

This is the second time I remember hearing about this.

I guess modern material's science and computation has finally aught up enough to replicate what they found in the saucers.

I moved my mother into assisted living this weekend, and it is not an easy or happy process for anyone involved.

[Con] [Anime Central] Call for Fanfiction Panelists
Posted by: DocMui - 10-13-2014, 03:58 AM - Forum: Other People's Fanfiction - Replies (1)

It's that time again!  No, it's not time to spin the Wheel of Morality
(TM), it's time to select panelists for the Anime Central 2015
Fanfiction Panel!

Anime Central (www.acen.org)
will take place on May 15-17 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont,
Illinois.  If you're going to be attending Acen and you're interested in
being on the panel, please send the following information:

1.  Your name or preferred handle.

2.  Your real name, if different.  By that I mean full, real name, including first and last names for the panel review board.

3.  A list of your preferred works, including any you may have written in the past year.

4.  The URL of your website, if any, or where your works can be found.

5.  If you've been on a fanfic panel before, and if so, where.

6.  (OPTIONAL) Why you'd like to be on the panel.

Please private mail me at pmui1@NOSPAMPLEASE.prodigy.net by December 1
if you're interested.  The panel will be selected shortly after that.

(I'm sure you know what to remove--it's in capitals.)

Hope to hear from you soon!

  Dallas, we have a problem
Posted by: ordnance11 - 10-12-2014, 09:04 PM - Forum: Politics and Other Fun - Replies (26)

2nd case of Ebola..which happened a nurse who was taking care of of Thomas Duncan. Who may have removed her mask or suit top to touch her face with her gloves. So, now you have to monitor isolate and monitor her 18 co-workers. And their close contacts.
The hospitals around Dallas will have to drill into their healthcare workers. Follow the checklist by the numbers. Unless you want to get infected with a disease with a mortality rate greater than 50 percent. Dallas and Texas may have to start planning for quarantine protocols for neighborhoods just in case.

It's a continuation of the route where Asuna woke up to find Negi had died in Negima. Eva-chan had grown up and become a teacher. Touta Konoe (Negi's grandkid?) is her ward and disciple. Though I'm wondering if he's really a descendant of Rakan  with his antics.
Chapter 5 right now and Akamatsu-sama does not disappoint!
Edit: You sneak into the women's hot springs, pull the towel of a mature A.K. McDowell and then tell her naked grannies are not your thing!? Really, do you have a death wish or something?

If you didn't get your wings, you can at least get a token settlement

The Register: http://www.theregister.co.uk/Print/2014 ... s_lawsuit/]Red Bull does NOT give you wings, $13.5m lawsuit says so

"Careathers claimed that after a decade of necking the fizzy fuel, he did not have wings, or an improved athletic or intellectual ability, meaning Red Bull had deceived users into parting with their cash."

Sometimes I despair for humanity ... but one might as well get that $10 (or $15 worth of product) as long as it's being offered.

Shikwati makes a pretty good case for it. All Western aid seems to do is prop up banana-republic dictators and thugs. Without it, they might have a chance at growing a real country or ten over there.

No word yet on which actresses will be starring... so, speculation time!

One wonders whether Tina Fey is available for this.
