"...please! You know why we need you back. They're threatening the entire Earth this time!"
The white-suited man folded his arms and shook his head in negation.
The girl in pink spoke next. "But why? You're wasting your potential here. You know you were meant for more than this, Tommy!"
Off to the side, three men observe the scene. The tallest one turns to the other two and says, "Who are these five wankers, and what do they want with the Stig?"
Richard Hammond shakes his head at Jeremy Clarkson. "No clue, mate."
James May smiles a secret smile . "I could tell you chaps, but then they'd have to...silence the lot of us."
^ Power Rangers?
"This hand of mine glows with an awesome power. Its burning grip tells me to defeat you....
Shining FINGER!" -Domon Kashuu, Mobile Fighter G Gundam

The thing that bothers me the most about that crossover is it would seem to conflict with Tommy's character as presented in Dino Thunder, where he chooses to continue to be a Power Ranger. (Also, there are three or four other rangers in Dino Thunder.)

Today is Camarone Day. On this day, a detachment of the French Foreign Legion, badly outnumbered, refused to surrender to the Mexican Army. The Mexicans attacked, killed a number of legionnaires, and assaulted.

Normal practice is that if a force resists to the point of an assault, and they are beaten, they can be killed out of hand. The Mexican commander was so impressed by the Legion, that he permitted the very few survivors to surrender. The survivors insisted on being able to keep their arms, and to escort the body of their commander, which was agreed to.

As an aside, these are heroes, for some of the definitions of hero that I hold to be true. Maybe they don't fit the narrow definitions of GaoGaiGar, Exalted, or Fate/Stay Night. Still, they will be remembered for their bravery for as long as this civilization exists.

Anyhow, I've been thinking that Utena Tenjou and Jean Danjou might be close enough to prompt a swap. Should not be involves Danjou at Otori and young Utena at Camerone. Should be might be more along the lines of Utena going to École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr after Otori.

If this doesn't qualify, how about Dominion Tank Police and Kerberos Panzer Cops.

It's FFIV, not VII.  Is that close enough?
(Also, I fixed the spelling of Sephiroth.)
Edit:
Haruhi Suzumiya crossed over with Alfred Bester's The Demolished Man.

Just today I sent a Trekkie co-worker staggering away back to his office by tossing out an idea that just popped out of my hindbrain while we were yakking:

The Zombie virus is in fact a bio-weapon developed as a defense against the Borg.

All the various Zombie movies are just what happens when the virus slips containment.

But what really had my co-worker reaching for his Tylenol was the thought of what happens when the first Borg gets bitten by a zombie.  Irresistable force, meet immovable object.  I'll be over here, watching from a safe distance.  And by "over here," I mean at least one galaxy over.  Probably five.

Necratoid

ECSNorway... you could totally pull that off if you put him as the antagonist in the first resent Ironman movie... then have Largo pop up as a villian in another movie... of course you'd then have to have a scene where Jarvis and him argue over their stances on humanity and Largo be stuck when he can't come up with a real retort for 'But his drunken antics are hilarious.'
Mason could totally replace Stane.... straight out of the box. Although, inverting that we get Tony Stark somewhere up the corporate ladder in Genom. "Ladies, nice suits.... try mine!"
